Hartford Hospital/University of Connecticut Health Care
TRG is currently assisting with the integration of Hartford Hospital (a major community teaching hospital) and the University of Connecticut’s John Dempsey Hospital (an academic medical center). The work includes managing all aspects of the project including integration of a multi-hospital system, employee and labor concerns, political process, financial analysis, academic integration with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and the development of a new faculty practice plan.  This process has required developmental work and negotiations between the President, Dean of the School of Medicine and faculty leadership at UCONN and their counterparts at Hartford Hospital.

Southwest Washington Health System
TRG supported Southwest Washington Health System (SWHS) of Vancouver, WA through a strategic positioning process, considering alternative courses for an independent future and evaluating merger partners. As a result of this work, SWHS had a sound basis upon which it evaluated the benefits of pursuing a strategic alignment and gained a more complete understanding of the full range of independent alternatives available. SWHS elected to partner with PeaceHealth of Bellevue, WA. TRG will continue to assist SWHS through the transition process.
